Nov. 30–LAS CRUCES — Border International, a heavy duty and medium duty full service truck and trailer dealership with locations in Las Cruces, is pleased to announce their second annual Truckers Toy Drive, to be held Saturday, Dec. 9.
Companies in the community have teamed up, including Garces & Son Trucking, Border International and Border Brew Coffee House, to put on an event to help bring joy to lives of many children that may not otherwise receive toys during the holiday season. The drive will start at 9 a.m. at NTS in Vado with a truck parade through Las Cruces ending at Border International.
The public is invited from to Border International from 11 a.m. — 2 p.m. for food, Santa pictures, door prizes, fun activities and more. Just bring a new, unwrapped toy to participate in the truck parade. Toy drop off will be at Border International where the parade will end. Toy drop off at Border International is open to the public from now until Dec. 9.
Truckers wanting to participate in truck parade, please meet at NTS in Vado between 9 and 10 a.m. Semis will have a police escort at 10 a.m. Only truck cabs allowed to participate in parade, no trailers.
All toys will be donated to local charities throughout Las Cruces for kids in need.
