June 20–Summer is finally here, and event organizers have been working overtime planning fun things to do.
For starters, Rancho Cucamonga’sHamilton Family Brewery celebrates its fourth anniversary from noon-10 p.m. Saturday, June 23. The event will include free burgers, limited-edition merchandise and live karaoke with the Karaoke Band.
The brewery is producing four variations of a hazy double India Pale Ale — each infused with different fruits — for the occasion.
Hamilton Family Brewery is at 9757 Seventh St., Suite 802. More information can be found on the brewery’s Facebook page.
Cheers at The Farm, a celebration of award-winning wines, beers, spirits and olive oils from the Los Angeles International competitions, will be held from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Fairplex in Pomona.
In terms of numbers, participants will be able to sample from more than 75 beers, 150-plus wines from more than 17 countries, and more than 150 spirits, along with a number of olive oils.
Of course, you’ll want to tame those libations with some delicious food, and more than a dozen food vendors — including local favorites Cannataro’s Italian Restaurant, Chef Milo’s Pine Haven Bistro, Graber Olive House, Metro Ale House, New York Grill, Pueblita Mexican Restaurant, Sabor A Mi and Zait Bistro — will be serving during the event.
The event also will feature a silent auction, dancing and watercolor painting.
Tickets are $75 in advance and will be $85 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $35, and tickets for groups of eight or more are available for $65.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the educational programs of The Learning Centers at Fairplex.

One winner of a pair of awards (one gold, one bronze) at this year’s Los Angeles International Wine Competition is Yucaipa winery — yes, you read that correctly — Suveg Cellars.
Established in 2010 and opened to the public in a limited way in 2014, the winery now has a public tasting room downtown.
Suveg’s tasting room, at 12132 California St., will host a grand opening celebration this weekend.
The family-friendly event will take place 4-10 p.m. Friday, June 22, and noon-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24.
It’s not all about the wine, however. Local olive oil producer Lot 22 will offer samples from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 2-6 p.m. Sunday.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, and catered food also will be available that day.
For more information, visit the winery’s Facebook page.
One of Southern California’s more unique beer festivals is taking place at Claremont’sRancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden on Saturday, June 23.
The Brew Wild Beer Festival is set for 4-8 p.m. at the garden, 1500 N. College Ave. More than a dozen local breweries — and a local cidery — are participating.
The twist is that the beers produced for the event are made with California native plants, grown and harvested at the garden — everything from sages to juniper and pine.
In addition to the botanical beers, the event will feature live music and food trucks.
Tickets ($45) include admission to the garden, on June 23, a three-ounce tasting glass and unlimited pours. Premium parking is available for an extra $10.
A limited number of VIP tickets, which include early admission at 3 p.m., reserved parking and access to an exclusive VIP section, are available for $75.
