Nov. 01–Houston’sNoble Energy reported a $227 million quarterly profit Thursday that jumped up from a $136 million loss a year prior.
Noble also touted revenue growth of 25 percent from last year up to $1.14 billion in the third quarter.
Noble said its massive Leviathan project offshore of Israel is more than two-thirds complete with construction occurring outside of Corpus Christi in Ingleside. The natural gas project is expected to come online in late 2019.
Noble also increased activity in West Texas’ Permian Basin, operating six drilling rigs there during the third quarter.
