June 13–The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for motor carrier inspectors for the Fort Wayne and Versailles districts. The scale facilities are located on Interstate 69 in Warren and on Interstate 65 in Seymour, and inspectors enforce state and federal regulations pertaining to commercial motor vehicles operating within the state of Indiana.
Trainees must complete Motor Carrier Inspector School Monday-Friday, Sept. 11-Dec. 1, at the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement facility in Indianapolis. Housing will be provided. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or G.E.D. and valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old by Dec. 1.
