July 24–Detroit police are investigating the theft of several vehicles from a shipping yard managed by a third party near Fiat Chrysler’sJefferson North Assembly Plant, according to a statement from Fiat Chrysler.
A group of men drove a vehicle through a gate around the lot at Kercheval and Algonquin at 3:16 a.m. Sunday and then stole the vehicles, said Detroit Police Sgt. Nicole Kirkwood.

The company declined to comment Tuesday morning on which vehicles were taken or how they were stolen.
The matter remains under investigation.
Back in May, thieves stole eight 2018 Ram trucks during a similar predawn heist at a shipping yard near Fiat Chrysler’sWarren Truck Assembly Plant.
