Bison is the state’s largest privately-held energy services company, according to a release. S&S is a “leading water infrastructure business in the SCOOP, STACK and Merge.”
All of the S&S employees are expected to remain in the company after the acquisition closes, according to Bison. S&S President
“This strategic acquisition firmly establishes Bison as the largest and only fully-integrated water midstream company with assets in every major basin across the state,” according to the company. “In addition to its water midstream division, Bison and its affiliates offer a wide range of upstream and midstream services including trucking and logistics, environmental services, pipeline construction, midstream manufacturing and fabrication, fishing and rental tools and other energy infrastructure services.”
Bison CEO North Whipple said the transaction marks an important milestone following the recent downturn presenting numerous challenges for the industry. He said while other companies downsized, restructured or relocated, Bison went “all in” on
